Creative Writing

This course explores imaginative literary expression. Although the course focusses on the work of class members, it also involves examining the works of others. Specific attention is given to editorial procedure, form, techniques and literary devices. Students wishing to register in this course must submit to the department three weeks before classes begin, a selective portfolio of their creative work or an essay demonstrating creative reasons for wishing to take the course.
